I stayed at the Tex Inn, in Oct 2009 while traveling on business. I usually stay in Texarkana, but the road work there caused traffic back ups, and I just drove on. I pulled off to the Tex Inn on a whim because it was close to the interstate.
The next day when I stopped for gas, I noticed that my money clip was missing. I had left it in the room along with some cash and valuable papers. Guess what, it was turned in by the cleaning staff with all the money intact. Not only that, but they refused to take a reward that I offered ! Honest people are a wonderful thing to find and I'll be staying here from now on. Great people and a nice place to stay.

I just stayed at TEX INN this past weekend. The room was clean and the recliner an added bonus for my tired body.
I went in and said"I don't need fancy but the room has to be clean! The room was clean, the water hot and had wonderful water pressure. Not found everywhere. The girls at the counter Tara the night before and the girl on Sunday morning were very friendly and helpful . The
owners must be commended for providing a very good service for a reasonable price."People don't always remember what you say or what you do but they ALWAYS
remember how you make them feel" I felt welcome and comfortable. Thank you

The TEX-INN is the hidden gem of the Texarkana area! The rates are low, yet the room was clean and comfortable. The pool and continental breakfast were just added bonuses! I purchased a double room with two queen sized beds for only $70. It was an amazing deal. The staff were friendly and ready to lend a helping hand which is not something you find very often. I will stay here over and over!
